RSS news feeds

Stay in touch by subscribing to an RSS news feed. The feed will include news releases, FINTRAC advisories, and speeches.

To subscribe click on the orange RSS graphic RSS Feed Icon, copy the URL from the address bar of your browser and then paste it in the appropriate field of your RSS Reader.

Details are given about each of the news articles referenced in the news feed. You will see the time and date of publishing, the title, a brief summary and a link to the full text available on the FINTRAC's Web site.

RSS Readers

To view RSS feeds on your computer, you will usually need to get an RSS Reader or an RSS Web module.

There are numerous RSS Readers available for free download or for purchase on the Internet. Referring links to web sites not under the control of the Government of Canada are provided solely for the convenience of users. The government is not responsible for the accuracy, currency or the reliability of the content nor does it endorse the sites and their content. (see also Important Notices)

What is RSS?

A Rich Site Summary (RSS) or as some refer to it, Real Simple Syndication, is an XML-based format for content distribution in real time. FINTRAC's RSS feed allows you to read through the news you want, at your convenience.

About the PDF file format

To view a Portable Document Format (PDF) file you must have a PDF reader installed. If you do not already have such a reader, there are numerous PDF readers available for free download or for purchase on the Internet:

Alternatively, you can have a PDF file converted to HTML or ASCII text by using one of the conversion services offered by Adobe.

About the RTF file format

To view a RTF file, use the document conversion features available in most word processing software, or use a file viewer capable of reading RTF.

About the SWF file format

To view a Shockwave Flash (SWF) file you must have an SWF player installed. If you do not already have such a player, one can be downloaded from the following link:

About the TXT file format

To view a TXT file, use the document conversion features available in most word processing software, or use a file viewer capable of reading TXT.

About the XLS file format
